Course Lausanne Capitale Olympique
By participating in this fifth edition of the Course Capitale Olympique (Olympic Capital Race), you will be showing your support for sport and for the Olympic values of excellence, friendship and respect.
It’s an event not to be missed. We hope that many of you will be able to join in and become an ambassador for the Olympic values.
Due to the hot weather conditions, the 2017 edition of the Lausanne Olympic Capital Race is canceled.
Registrations are limited. The maximum number has been reached.
Departure: Olympic Museum (Esplanade Jacques Rogge, in front of the museum fountain) and finish at Stade Pierre de Coubertin
Circuits: see map
- Circuit of 5km 250m with no elevations, can also be run as families
- One departure only at 17.15 with groups according to category
16.00: Zone opens and T-shirts available for collection (Esplanade Jacques Rogge, Olympic Museum)
16.45: Group warm-up to music
17.15: Departure by category in the following order: running, walking, Nordic walking and pushchairs.
Scooters, roller blades, bikes and dogs are not allowed.
Please note: the official T-shirt given to each participant must be worn.

General information about the event
The circuits are not timed and there is no ranking system.
Workers from the "Samaritains" will be available in the finish zone at the Stade Pierre de Coubertin.
Departure: a limited number of toilets will be available
Finish: Stade Pierre-de-Coubertin
You have the option of depositing your bags at the departure point. They will then be taken to the finish by the organiser.
Stade Pierre de Coubertin (changing rooms not under surveillance)
Please use public transport to come to the departure point for the race.
Your return journey will be provided by the organising committee in collaboration with TL.
It is up to each participant to arrange insurance. The organiser accepts no liability in case of theft, damage or accident.
The organiser reserves the right to use the data provided by participants as well as any images recorded during the event (photographs or videos) in order to promote other events organised by the Service des sports and transmit them to partners. In case of disagreement, the participant must notify the organiser in writing not later than 10 days before the event.
