international strength for a national impact
A major sports event only makes sense for a host if it can have a significant impact on the development of sports at the regional and the national level. Lausanne and the Canton of Vaud have the ambition and the capacities to become, through this event, a true catalyst for a structured development of sport in the Canton de Vaud.
Through these Youth Olympic Games, Lausanne and the State of Vaud want to be an innovation lab, an idea incubator for young people by young people, in order to contribute to the broadcasting of the positiv values of sport and olympism for future generations.
