For many years the City of Lausanne has pursued an attractive pricing policy so that people, and particularly families, can enjoy the benefits of open-air swimming pools during the high season. Local pools are even free.
Outdoor pools are open on the following dates and times:
Bellerive-Plage pool
From Wednesday May 16th to Sunday September 9th 2012.
Daily from 9.30 to 20.30* (weather permitting).
Montchoisi pool
From Wednesday May 16th to Sunday September 9th 2012.
From Monday to Saturday, from 9.00 to 20.30*.
Sunday and public holidays, from 9.00 to 18.45* (weather permitting).
Bellevaux, Boisy, Montétan and Vieux-Moulin local pools
From Saturday May 26th to Sunday August 26th 2012.
From 9.30 to 20.00* (weather permitting).
* people have to get out of the pool 30 minutes before closing time
Individual and family subscriptions are available from the start of the season and are valid in Lausanne’s Bellerive, Montchoisi and Mon-Repos swimming pools, as well as Prilly (Fleur de Lys and Fontadel), Pully-Plage, Pully indoor pool and AquaSplash Renens.
Subscriptions are particularly reasonable, with graduated prices for families: the first adult pays 130 francs for the summer season, the second adult CHF 95, the first child CHF 50, the second CHF 35 and the following ones CHF 5.
*on production of a valid card. Special terms for students and apprentices up to the age of 25 living with their parents.
These subscriptions are valid until the Monday of the Jeûne fédéral (Federal Fast) in indoor pools (Mon-Repos, Fontadel and Pully indoor pool). Customers can contact the cash desks at Bellerive and Montchoisi pools directly for information on subscriptions.
