François Pétermann – Sans titre

Built as a tramway station in 1913, this kiosk is emblematic of the orientalist Art Nouveau style popular at the turn of the 19th century. Renovated in 1980, the floor of this charming building was fitted with a polychrome mosaic made of curves and scrolls by François Pétermann, a mosaicist, illustrator and watercolourist from the canton of Vaud.
