André Tommasini – Sans titre

Near the sculpture by André Gigon, this piece by André Tommasini resembles it in many ways, since both works adopt a non-figurative, minimalist approach. The aim, for André Tommasini, is to free the material to allow a harmonious blend of straight lines and curves to emerge: a delicate equilibrium, emphasized by the assembly of two distinct geometrical elements which appear to be joined and virtually interlocked by the formal mastery of the artist.
