André Gigon – Grand objet
Integrated in its urban environment, in dialogue with the buildings that surround it, this sculpture requires close inspection to appreciate its finer points. The surface of the solid block of concrete is traced with fine lines which give it its expressiveness.This work bears witness to the pure geometrical abstraction of the second half of the 20th century.
