Angel Duarte – Ouverture au monde

Fascinated by mathematics, Duarte creates works that are rigorously geometrical. But unlike other examples where the marriage of art and science obeys rigid rules, his works are vibrant and poetic. Located at the entrance to the Port d'Ouchy, "Ouverture au monde" welcomes navigators and travellers. Sparkling in the sun, the structure comes alive when it mirrors the reflections of light on the surface of Lake Geneva.
