Simon Deppierraz – Exercice de gravité

A large stone is suspended above the courtyard through an ingenious system of cables and pulleys, provoking both fear and fascination in those who see it. With this artificial, rough-hewn stone the artist questions the basic laws of physics. Fearless, the stone appears to have taken flight and now waits, giving us an unexpected focal point in the void, much like a satellite.
