Milo Martin – Baigneuse
Not far from the fountain, a bather sits nonchalantly taking in the sun. This nude echoes the favourite theme of the artist, who often represented the body in a style that grew progressively softer. The first ever work to grace the visual art collection of the City of Lausanne, this commission marked the start of a rich and vibrant public collection.
