Robin Michel – Again and again

To commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the organisation Terre des hommes, founded in Lausanne in 1960 by Edmond Kaiser, Robin Michel designed this sculpture which combines power and fragility. Its volume, massiveness and unfinished appearance contrast with the delicate metal triangle which adorns it and towards which the eye is drawn. For the artist, this work represents "a small sign of hope in the face of human misery".
