Dominique Froidevaux – Arbre de la liberté

Standing on the paved esplanade of the Vallée de la Jeunesse, this sculpture depicts the silhouette of a tree. Its dense structure retains an exceptional lightness thanks to the careful balance between solid shapes and voids. Due to its height of 7 meters, its line of vision allows it to dialogue with the sculpture "Le Serment du Grütli", located by the lakeside on the Esplanade des Cantons.
